GALVESTON, Texas (November 20, 2017) – Del Sol and Cariloha stores, located on the Strand, are under new ownership and new management. Owners Mark and Angela Stevens are from the Dallas area and are looking forward to the upcoming holiday season. Del Sol stocks unique, sun-activated, color-changing apparel, handbags, nail polish, sunglasses, hats and much more.  Cariloha offers an exclusive collection of bedding, bath goods, and now active apparel all made from soft, cool, clean and green bamboo.

Kelly and Mike Ellison are the new management team heading the retail store. Kelly is the new General Manager for Del Sol and Cariloha and brings 25 years of retail management experience to Del Sol and Cariloha. The store is updating its entire inventory and will be introducing a new active wear line through Cariloha.

“Galveston’s people and culture attracted me to the shop,” said Kelly Ellison. “The festivals and annual events really bring life to Galveston and keep business flowing.”

Del Sol’s color changing products transform to vivid, bright colors when activated by the sun and return to their original color indoors without the sun.  Cariloha is driven by comfort and an eco-conscious lifestyle. The new active wear line includes athletic pants, yoga tanks, athletic v-necks, headbands and more.

Del Sol and Cariloha are also offering a special promotion of $250 off all mattress purchases and 20% off of all sheet and towel purchases to those affected by Hurricane Harvey. For more information and updates please call (409) 762-0194 or visit their social pages /
