G. Keith Bickham, Jr. is the Vice President of Financial Operations and Controller for The Mitchell Family Corporation and Mitchell Historic Properties.  Since he joined the company as Controller in 1999, he has directed the accounting and tax matters as well as performed financial analyses and operational reviews for the affiliated group of entities that contain the assets of Cynthia and George Mitchell.

Since joining the company, he has developed policies and procedures to enhance the financial analysis/reporting/cost control systems.  In addition, he has been instrumental in organizing and standardizing certain aspects of the various operations.     

Prior to joining the Mitchell family, Mr. Bickham held managerial positions in both public accounting (Big Four) and private industry.  He attained a broad base of experience from working in a variety of industries: retail, real estate, hospitality, agribusiness, energy, manufacturing, financial institutions, and construction.  After leaving his position as Audit Manager for KPMG, Mr. Bickham has spent over twenty five years focused on working for closely held, diverse family businesses. 

Mr. Bickham has been a Certified Public Accountant for over thirty years and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) as well as the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) and the Houston Chapter of the TSCPA.  Mr. Bickham also holds the designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), a credential established in January of 2012 by a joint venture of the AICPA and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).  He graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and subsequently completed the Competitive Business Leadership Institute executive development program at The University of Texas at Austin Graduate School of Business.
