GALVESTON, Texas (June 30, 2016) – Mitchell Historic Properties has donated an array of vintage furniture and light fixtures to Habitat for Humanity ReStore.  We have made it a mission to give back to the community; and partnering with Habitat for Humanity Restore will help someone else in our community build a place to call home. The donation included over 400 light fixtures from The Tremont House Hotel along with vintage, wooden café chairs, banquet chairs, a Borne from The Hotel Galvez among many other items.

“The Mitchell’s are dedicated to helping organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity, that help provide families a place to call their own,” said Steven Creitz, Project Manager at Mitchell Historic Properties.

The furniture donation is taken back to the Habitat for Humanity Restore and is sold to someone else in the community that will give it a second chance. The funds received from these sales go towards building a new home for a deserving family.

About Mitchell Historic Properties
