Steve Cunningham joined the staff as complex general manager in October 2009. He has more than 25 years of experience in lodging, food and beverage and convention centers. Steve serves as general manager of Hotel Galvez & Spa and has oversight responsibilities for all three properties. He formerly was general manager of Hotel ZAZA in Houston, where he increased guest satisfaction earning the hotel AAA’s Four Diamond rating. Under his leadership, Hotel ZAZA was named Best New Business Hotel by Fortune magazine.
Marty Miles joined the staff as complex food & beverage director in November 2009. Marty, a 25-year food-and-beverage veteran, oversees the restaurants, bars and banquet and catering service at Hotel Galvez, The Tremont House and Harbor House Hotel & Marina. He previously was the founder and president of Casino Food and Beverage Solutions LLC, a Las Vegas firm that offers consulting services to casinos, resorts, hotels, restaurants, lounges and convention centers.
Hotel Manager Marty Miles brings 25 plus years in the hospitality industry. Miles serves as hotel manager for The Tremont House, a Wyndham Grand® Hotel, and Harbor House Hotel & Marina. He served as the complex food & beverage director since November 2009 and continues to serve in this role overseeing the food and beverage operations of Hotel Galvez & Spa, The Tremont House and Harbor House Hotel & Marina.
Executive Chef Michael Jacobson joined the staff at Wyndham Hotels of Galveston in May 2012 working as executive sous chef initially at The Tremont House and at Hotel Galvez. He was named executive chef of The Tremont House in December 2012....
