What's New at The Tremont House in GalvestonThe Tremont House unveils new look for The Rooftop Bar
The hotel unveiled a new sophisticated, modern lounge atmosphere for The Rooftop Bar following a $100,000 renovation completed in June 2011. The owners replaced the traditional wrought iron seating with cozy sectional seating areas along with bar height tables and chairs. The Rooftop Bar is open on Wednesdays through Saturdays from 4 to 11 p.m.
The Tremont House now offers a Wedding Garden
The Wedding Garden, which is adjacent to the hotel, was opened in the summer of 2011. The Garden can accommodate ceremonies of up to 150 guests. It includes a wedding arch that can be used for a backdrop. In addition to the Wedding Garden, the hotel offers 15,776 square feet of interior meeting space consisting of eight meeting rooms.
The Tremont House to host 29th Annual Mardi Gras Parade Viewing Party
The Tremont House presents its 29th Annual Mardi Gras Parade Viewing Party on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013. The ball features entertainment by the Dr. Michael White Jazz Quartet, theme music, dance music by Houston's Eclipse, and more. The themed event includes premier viewing of the Momus Grand Night Parade, an open bar, dinner buffet, live entertainment and ends with a breakfast.
The Tremont House offers Park and Shuttle Cruise Package
The Tremont House offers cruising guests who valet park the option of free parking during the length of their cruise at its sister property – Hotel Galvez & Spa through its Park and Shuttle Cruise Package. Room rates from $154/night on weekdays and $199/night on weekends and are subject to availability. On the day of the cruise, Tremont guests may park at Hotel Galvez and enjoy complimentary round-trip transportation to the cruise ship terminal.
